Sharks players know how devastating it would be to go 0-3 against the Vancouver Canucks. So they know they have to win tonight and break Canucks' momentum after losing two matches in Vancouver. 

Sharks had a much better start to the series against the Red Wings. They had to wait for 7th match to win it but this time it seems to be much tougher. They have a mountain to climb now and these two games on home ice will be of utmost importance. 

Sharks received great service from Joe Thornton and Marleau against the Canucks in first two matches but they were unable to stop Henrik Sedin. Bieksa and Higgns were the unexpected offensive powers against the Sharks in first two games. Kesler is yet to score a goal for the Canucks but you never know which game he will pick to shine. 

Sharks will need a better performance from Dany Heatley and Clowe and Setoguchi tonight if they are to stop the Canucks this time.->Read more »

Outcome: 

After dropping the first match of the series, Bruins had a bad start to the secong game. Trailing after only 20 seconds into first period, they fought back to come back and win the game to tie the series. 

Their powerplay was much better than the first game and they scored 2 goals on the man advantage situations. Bolts are 8-1 in last 9 games and they have been the best performing team in playoffs so far. 4-8 home record against the Bruins do not look very promising but their performance so far in this playoffs is one of the reason I will side with them tonight.

Powered by Stamkos, St Louis and LeCavalier, their offense continue to produce against the Bruins. Despite Tim Thomas's excellent saves in first two matches, they were able to score 10 goals in Boston and I am sure they will be much better tonight on home ice. 

Bergeron is cleared to play tonight for the visiting Bruins while the Bolts are still without Kubina and Smaby.->Read more »
