Boston Bruins visit Washington Capitals tonight as both teams try to take series lead after splitting games in Boston. Bruins had won the first match 1-0 with a dominant game but then Caps managed to even the series thanks to Backstrom's OT winner.
I like Bruins but I'd like them better if they still had Savard on the ice (or even Phil Kessel, now that would make a fantastic team). Leave the dreaming aside, coming to tonight's match...
Caps look so much different from the past seasons. They are not the high scoring team anymore, not to mention that they finished regular season with -8 goal difference. If it wasn't for their 6-2-2 run in last 10 in regular season, they wouldn't have been here anyway. ->Read more »

Devils coach DeBoer the former coach of Florida Panthers knew too much about Panthers team. It shows in playoffs. At least for 20 minutes, it certainly looked like one way traffic in Florida. Devils had a 3-0 lead but then Panthers did everything to come back but they fell short.
Now that the Devils are leading 1-0 in series, this is going to be a critical game for the home side. Devils with a goaltender like Brodeur who won his 100th playoff game will have a great advantage if they can take home a 2-0 series lead. ->Read more »
