If it was not for huge defensive mistakes, Boston goaltender Tim Thomas could have won the game for the Bruins in the second match but it was Burrows who scored twice taking his chances on as many shots on goal who was the game winner for the home side.

Vancouver Canucks scored another powerplay goal (1/2 in 2nd game) and their powerplay performance continue to dominate their opponents. Canucks have scored 6 powerplay goals in last 5 matches but they were unable to score in first match.

Even without top player Marc Savard, Bruins have come this far and they played significantly better in second game against the Canucks. They will surely feel confident when they take on the Canucks in this third match of the series at home. They were able to match Canucks in Vancouver in every department except for scoring but I believe they will continue their strong home play (7-1 in last 8) and make it 2-1 in series tonight.->Read more »

Outcome: 

Will Sedin brothers put an end to Sharks post season? We will find out tonight when the teams meet for the 5th time in series. After winning the first game on home ice, San Jose Sharks shot everything at Luongo in 4th game but it was the Canucks with only 13 shots on goal who won the match 3-1.

Henrik Sedin has 9 assists so far while the other Sedin, Daniel has contributed with 2 goals and 3 assists.

Sharks still have no solution to Canucks powerplays which was the main factor they lost the most critical game number 4 despite outshooting their opponents 34-13

This is a great opportunity for the home side to finish it off and wait for the winner of Boston-Tampa Bay series.

My money on Canucks tonight. Post season disappointments continue for the Sharks and it looks like we see them finish the season in Vancouver tonight.
