Detroit has managed to come back from a 3rd period, 3-1 Sharks lead in 5th game thanks to Datsyuk and Lidstrom's stellar performances.

Sharks are not getting enough help from top players; Joe Thornton, Dany Heatley and especially Patrick Marleau.

Marleau is without a point in series against the Wings. 

Not only the poor form of the trio, postseason's leading scorer Ryane Clowe is not going to play tonight. That's a huge loss for the Sharks.

Sharks powerplay also struggled in the last game, failing on all chances which gave Detroit a chance to comeback and stay alive for 6th game.

At Joe Louis Arena, in front of their fans, Wings will have a chance to tie the series.

Outcome: 

Will the Predators survive another match against the Vancouver Canucks who lead the series 3-2? That's not easy to answer as both teams seem to receive help from unlikely names and they are capable of turning things around by winning on road.

Canucks' super twins, Sedin brothers have scored fewer goals than Predators' Ward have scored in playoffs. While the Sedins looked less impressive in this series, Kessler who didn't start the playoffs well is leading the team with 5 goals and 4 assists against the Preds.

This will be the third meeting in Nashville and Canucks had won the first two matches. 

Canucks will be playing without Samuelsson tonight while the Predators have Steve Sullivan sidelined.

In the first two meetings at Bridgestone Arena, Canucks had outshot the Predators and deservedly won both games. This will be a huge confidence boost for the visitors as they look to finish the series with a third win. ->Read more »
