Capitals after breaking a franchise record are visiting the NY Rangers who have been losing back to back games on home ice. Rangers finally won a game on road and it was against Colorado Avalanche. However they lost in Los Angeles on Tuesday and that Colorado victory was the single victory in their last 5 games.

Caps are coming off another win. They beat the Boston Bruins on Tuesday despite some sloppy play in the first 40 minutes. Bruins actually played pretty good but they didn't take advantage of scoring chances and the Caps did.

Ottawa Senators will try to make it 10 straight wins tonight if they beat the Buffalo Sabres one more time in this fourth matchup of the season between the two clubs. Senators are coming off an overtime win against the Montreal Canadiens. Sens had a 2-0 lead in the game but the Canadiens managed to come back and tie it at 2-2. Fisher's overtime goal made it a franchise record 9 straight wins for the club.

Sabres lost in Pittsburgh on Monday. They had a 3-1 lead in the second period but they couldn't stop Sidney Crosby who had a hat trick. Penguins scored 4 goals in quick fashion and Sabres' comeback attempt at the end of the final period was not enough.->Read more »
