What a wild match it was, the first game of the Stanley Cup finals. Hawks had to score 6 goals to beat the Flyers in the opening match of the series.
Noone had expected such a high scoring game from two good defenses in the NHL. Chicago Blackhawks will try to make it 2-0 and take a significant advantage over the Flyers tonight at the United Center.
Clear favorites could be the Hawks but one should give credit to Flyers' effort in the first match. They looked so good in the offense and should they repeat the same performance tonight, we can expect another thriller.->Read more »

I never thought the Flyers could make it this far but apparently the coach change early this season worked out for them and Laviolette's team despite struggling with several injuries made it to the NHL Stanley Cup finals 2009/2010. These two teams have not won the title in decades and one team will make their city proud after a maximum of 7 games.
Flyers were amazing against the Montreal Canadiens who had eliminated the Washington Capitals and last season's winners, Pittsburgh Penguins.->Read more »
