Phoenix Coyotes @ Montreal Canadiens:
Two wins over Ottawa Senators made it a pretty good start to the season for the Canadiens. Habs have won three of their last four games and they are coming to this match with 9 points, standing just under Toronto Maple Leafs who is not playing tonight. If Habs win, they will be at the top of Northeast division tonight.
Coyotes meanwhile lost their last match on home ice against the Carolina Hurricanes. They almost managed to come back after a 4-1 Canes lead in third period but their effort was not enough to win a point. 4-3 loss in the end was their 4th loss this season in 6 games.
When we look at the matches between these teams, Habs look strong. They are 10-2-4 vs the Coyotes.->Read more »
Premium NHL Pick: June 6
Philadelphia Flyers @ Chicago Blackhawks
Blackhawks will try different lines tonight. Their top three Kane, Toews and Byfuglien weren't good in first three games of the series and line changes late in fourth match didn't help the Hawks much and Flyers tied the series at 2-2.
Flyers had not impressed me in regular season but as Daniel Briere said before play offs, they have proven to be a play-off team. They have been fighting back in every round and that's what they are doing again. Blackhawks had won first two matches at United Center but the Flyers tied the series at Wachovia Center.
I was expecting goaltending problems for the Flyers but Leighton bounced back from the first match and he has been pretty good since then. ->Read more »
