With the return of Alex Ovechkin, Caps continued their already excellent streak in Tampa Bay. Ovechkin scored twice as the Caps gave the Lightning a 3-0 home defeat.

Now they will take on the Sabres who have been struggling as of late. Sabres lost twice on home ice in three days. They first lost to the Rangers as Lundqvist had a great game and satopped 36 shots. Carolina Hurricanes @ Pittsburgh Penguins:

Sidney Crosby is returning tonight. They suffered a rare loss on home ice when Sid missed the game against the Blackhawks. Despite Fedotenko's last minute game tying goal, Hawks won it in overtime.

Canes are coming off a victory on home ice they have been waiting for. They are 6-17-5 this season and rank at the bottom of the league.

They have only 3 points away from home and suffered 10 regulation losses in 13 games. It is going to take them something really special to have a chance against the defending Stanley Cup Champions.

They are still without defender Corvo, forwards Jokinen and Ryan along with goaltender Cam Ward. So it will be Legace in goal tonight.
