Two teams met Saturday and it was the Boston Bruins who won the game 7-2. Both teams had 33 shots on goal but Boston Bruins found the net seven times. Toronto Maple Leafs has been doing this all season long. They take shots but they fail to score on chances.

Leafs won two games in a row with the latest one coming against the Islanders last night. They also won four of their last five games. They scored a total of 19 goals in this span.

Bruins have been playing much better after the return of Marc Savard. He is creating chances for his team mates and also scoring goals himself.

Ottawa Senators @ Philadelphia:

Under their new coach Laviolette, Flyers won a game finally at the Wachowia Center. Now they face the Senators who have not been doing well on road except their victory in Anaheim. Then they suffered a home defeat at the hands of the red hot Montreal Canadiens. Their powerplay was very poor and the Habs stopped 7 Senators powerplays. That was the main reason Senators lost the game.

Flyers will need to repeat their latest performance on home ice. Scoring three goals before that game in four matches, they mananged to score 6 goals against the Islanders.

I liked the new powerplay strategy they had against the Flyers. It was very successful as they capitalised three times on five powerplay chances.->Read more »
