Two wins over Ottawa Senators made it a pretty good start to the season for the Canadiens. Habs have won three of their last four games and they are coming to this match with 9 points, standing just under Toronto Maple Leafs who is not playing tonight. If Habs win, they will be at the top of Northeast division tonight.
Coyotes meanwhile lost their last match on home ice against the Carolina Hurricanes. They almost managed to come back after a 4-1 Canes lead in third period but their effort was not enough to win a point. 4-3 loss in the end was their 4th loss this season in 6 games.
When we look at the matches between these teams, Habs look strong. They are 10-2-4 vs the Coyotes.
Shane Doan will not be on ice as he is serving a 3 match suspension. As for the Habs, Canadiens defenseman Markov is still out.
Price will be starting tonight for the Habs while Bryzgalov will be between the pipes for the visitors. He had an excellent season last season but Coyotes are having defensive problems early this season. 36 shots per game allowed by them is not helping Ilya.
I was going to go with UNDER for this match but sportsbooks list this one at 5 goals, so I will go with a MONEYLINE pick. I am expecting Habs to win on home ice and keep the momentum they built in last four matches.
