Buffalo Sabres @ Boston Bruins

Bruins are coming off a back to back wins over Carolina. They first won 7-0 in Boston and then they won 3-2 in Carolina. They were outplayed by Canes in second match but Thomas was amazing. He stopped 43 of 45 shots and helped his team win the game.

Sabres beat the Canadiens at HSBC Arena thanks to Pominville's overtime goal after losing in New York to the Islanders. Buffalo lost 2 of their last 5 games. They are 9-9-4 on road this season.

Bruins didn't start the season well at TD Garden but they have been playing very well of late. They are 12-8-3 at home but they are 5-0 on home ice when they play against Buffalo in last 5 matches. They seem to be handling the Sabres well especially at home.->Read more »

Toronto Maple Leafs @ NY Rangers

Rangers are still under 0.500 on home ice with a 11-10-2 record. They will host the Leafs tonight at MSG when they meet for the 4th time this season. In previous three meetings, Leafs won 1 and Rangers won twice in Toronto. Leafs had won the first meeting at MSG back in Oct, 2010.

Leafs are 4-2 in last 6 games but they dropped both of their last two games. They were swept aside by the Coyotes last Thursday (5-1) and then they lost on home ice to the Calgary Flames. Flames had a 1-0 lead with 17 seconds remaining in third but Leafs managed to tie the game only to lose it in overtime. They still were happy to get one point like that.

Rangers also lost their last two games. They were edged by the Canadiens on Saturday and they lost on Sunday against the Flyers. Despite outshooting the Flyers 36 to 27, they lost the game 2-3. ->Read more »
