After a long losing streak and the worst start to the season in franchise history, Leafs have been finding their full potential lately. With the return of Kessel they have started winning hockey games too.

After losing to Tampa Bay Lightning due to some unlucky misses, they have won two games in a row. First one came in Carolina and then the second one was the most impressive this season. They beat the Detroit Red Wings in Toronto with a score of 5-1.

Wild beat the Stars at home in their latest game. They however have been finding much harder to play on road this season. The have gone 1-8 in their latest road games.

They are 27th in the NHL when it comes to scoring. With only a Goal Average of 2.3 so far. ->Read more »

LA Kings @ Chicago Blackhawks

Both teams have three losses in their last five games and both teams have five losses so far this season. It is without doubt that the Kings have exceeded expectations going 10-5-2 while the Blackhawks have not been as good as last year.

They have been without their captain Jonathan Toews since October 22 and it only made things worse for them. He is expected to return tonight. That may be the turning point for them.

"He looked better and ratcheted things up to a different level," Chicago coach Qunneville told the paper. "We'll see how he is in the morning."

So if he plays he is likely to add energy to this team even if he is not at his best after concussion like problems.->Read more »
