These teams are meeting for the first time this season. San Jose Sharks recovered from home ice thrashing by the Blackhawks on Wednesday. They beat the Edmonton Oilers on Friday and they took yesterday off. They should be well rested for this game against a hot team like the Canucks.

Canucks started very good last night against the depleted Edmonton Oilers team and took a 4-0 lead in only about 10 minutes in first period. It looked like it was all over until the Oilers started to attack Canucks with so much energy. The most impressive victory was the latest one that came against the hottest team in the NHL, Chicago Blackhawks. We expected the Hawks to beat the Ducks that night but we were as shocked as the Hawks players themselves.
