Detroit Red Wings @ SJ Sharks:
Sharks played a very good first period against the Red Wings in the opening match of the series. Wings then tried to rally back but Sharks managed to win it and they took the lead in series.
Detroit Red Wings struggled on penalty killing. 2 of 4 Sharks goals were from powerplays and they were also poor on powerplays as they went 0 for 5. Special teams obviously need to step up tonight.
In regular season we had seen Wings beating the Sharks 3 times in 5 games. They had easy wins in San Jose in January and February.
In the previous round Red Wings had excellent games against the Phoenix Coyotes, twice at Jobing.com Arena. That shows their strength in road games. I am expecting another one tonight. They had beaten the Sharks several times at HP Pavillion and they actually didn't play too bad in last match despite the 4-3 loss.

Wings had a healhty 3-2 lead in 3rd period but Todd Bertuzzi's poorly taken penalty and couple of 5 on 3 powerplay's costed them highly.
