Blues are a very good team when they are on road. Unlike any other team in the NHL they find it very hard to win games on home ice tho. Such a shame for their fans that come to see them win hockey games. They will visit the Red Wings tonight at the Joe for the third time this season. Interesting enough, they already have two wins at the Joe Louis Arena this season, they are also 4-1 against the Red Wings this season.

Detroit Red Wings beat the Penguins on Monday with a 3-1 final score. They were very careful in defense, giving up only one penalty and keeping Penguins away from powerplay opportunities. Jimmy Howard is playing his best and I have to say, Detroit has finally found a good goaltender after last season's goaltender problems. Howard is very consistent. He will play his 55th game of the season tonight and he is 29-15-9 this season with a 2.30 GAA. The former number 1 goaltender Chris Osgood has played only 22 games this season and he has a 2.97 GAA with a 7-8-1 record. So it's Howard time!

It's not only goaltending that helps RedWings protect their 8th place in Western Conference. Pavel Datsyuk has been excellent with 11 points in last 11 games. Lidstrom also have 10 points in 11 games. Zetterberg has 15.

Conklin was the hero last time he played at the Joe Louis Arena against the Wings. He is coming off an impressive shut out at New Jersey on Saturday. He will try to help his team beat the Wings for the third time this season.

Despite Detroit's form, I wouldn't be surprised if Blues win this one. Underdog lovers, you can go with the Blues tonight. I will go with UNDER, considering the good form of both goaltenders, Howard and Conklin.
