Two top teams in the NHL will face each other at San Jose's HP Pavillion tonight.

Chicago Blackhawks are coming off a 1-0 victory in Vancouver. It was the latest victory in their 7 game winning streak. Now they will have Marian Hossa back. After the return of Jonathan Toews, Hawks improved drastically. Their seven game winning streak continued on road in their last three games in Calgary, Edmonton finally Vancouver.

These teams met 10 days ago in Chicago and the Hawks won that one in overtime. 4-3 was the final score when Seabrook scored the game winning goal.

Sharks lost in Nashville after that game and they won two games in a row afterwards. They beat the Philadelphia Flyers on home ice last Friday, thanks to amazing performance and team chemistry between Joe Thornton and former Ottawa Senators player Dany Heatley. Everytime Flyers replied with an equalizer the duo replied back with a goal to give Sharks the lead again.

Their confidence level at HP Pavilion is impressive. They lost only two games there and none of them were regulation losses.

Their penalty killing is the 2nd best in the NHL where the best penalty killing team is the Blackhawks. In other words this will a match between the best of the best teams.

Hawks did not play very good in Vancouver offensively but they were excellent defensively shutting out the Canucks and winning the game 1-0.

In conclusion, even though the Hawks are on a seven game winning streak, I expect San Jose Sharks to play their best tonight and tie season series with the Hawks. If a team is going to end Hawks' perfect run, it is no other team than the Sharks.
