I have been writing about the Kings and the powerplay. I still expect them to try different tactics on the powerplay but it looks the coaching staff doesn't want to change much about this team. They are not all wrong. At the end of the day, this is a team that has dominated the NHL Playoffs so far losing only two games.
Coyotes on the other side has got some momentum as they beat the Kings in 4th game and survived for at least one more match. There were a lot of positives for them. The return of Aucoin and Hanzal worked out pretty good and the return of captain (not from injury..) Shane Doan was excellent for them. Doan scored twice after not scoring for the last three games.
Kings are the best team on road in playoffs winning all 7 games. This is their best record in playoffs. Will the Coyotes be able to stop them? It really looks very unlikely. Whatever the game's outcome is, my money will be on UNDER selection. Smith and Quick, both goaltenders are on fire. Quick is without a doubt the best goaltender in the league right now and Smith is doing all he can to avoid his team's elimination.
