Toronto Maple Leafs finally got the defense going against the Capitals on Saturday when they won the game 2-1.

Islanders who dropped two games on a row will still be without forward Dough Weight tonight when they visit the home town of Tavares for the first time this season.

Islanders lost their last game in St Louis with a score of 4-1. It looks like they have lost some momentum as they have won only twice in the last five games.

Leafs 13-2-1 SU against the Islanders but I believe this Islanders team with young talented players have a great potential and you can not take this record into account blindly. This will be a tough game for both sides tonight.->Read more »

Streaking Predators will face the Blue Jackets who are coming off a 4-1 victory against the Dallas Stars. Despite the absence of Pahlsson,Modin and Murray, Blue Jackets have won three in a row and also four out of the last five. Rick Nash and Huselius were brilliant again in Dallas. It was Huselius's shorthanded goal that made it a sure victory for them against the Stars.

Nashville Predators have been playing their best of the season in their last five games. Their home victories came against the top teams in the NHL as they beat the San Jose Sharks, New Jersey Devils in a row. Arnott, Legwand and Ward have been playing excellent hockey lately. ->Read more »
