First time the teams meet this season and each of the teams have been struggling. Penguins have 10 injured players and this is why they have been losing back to back games. The loss against NY Islanders was the worst one but they seemed to be back on track with alternative lines when they beat the Colorado Avalanche 3-2 on Wednesday evening.
Hawks need to start winning before they find themselves out of the playoff race after winning the Stanley Cup last season. They dropped three of their last five games and suffered another home defeat against Blue Jackets on Friday evening.
Hawks don't have serious roster problems. Pisani is out but they are healthy other than him.
Hawks are 3=7 against the Penguins in last 10 games but I believe they should be able to beat this Penguins team who are without top players like Malkin, Crosby, Cooke and Kunitz. Hawks get the call in this one and for better odds, I go for 3 way betting.
