Despite injuries to Pavel Datsyuk and Cleary , Detroit will still have to forget the two losses they had on home ice. They first lost to the Islanders and then lost against the Flyers on Sunday.
They were much better on road compared to the two games at Joe Louis Arena. Wings had won three of their last four road games. They might find a way to get back on track when they begin a very long road trip tonight.
Oilers have only two wins in last ten games and that was on December 17th when they beat the Jackets 6-3. They lost six games in a row since then and their final three losses came at home against Buffalo, Colorado and Calgary Flames.
I will go with Detroit tonight. They already have beaten the Oilers twice this season, one being a 6-2 thrashing in Detroit and the first one back in November.
Osgood is returning tonight in Detroit goal and he will face Edmonton's Khabibulin who is taking over from Dubnyk.
