Buffalo Sabres @ Florida Panthers
Sabres beat the Bruins on Wednesday after suffering a 5-2 loss against the Penguins on Saturday. They alternated wins and losses in the last 10 days which they went 3-2.
Panthers had an impressive winning streak when they beat Capitals, Coyotes and Colorado last week and two of those wins were on road. However, they dropped two in a row, losing 3-0 in Nashville and then blowing a 3-1 lead against the Canes on Wednesday and lose 4-3.
This is the first match between these teams this season. Last season, Sabres had both games in Florida and three of four matches in total. Sabres are 6-1 against the Panthers in last 7 games in Florida.
I will side with the Sabres in this one. They have Ryan Miller and a load of offensive power. They are a healthy team with no injuries while the Panthers are still without Bitz, Dvorak, Olesz and Stillman. Panthers looked shaky in last two games and they have also been pretty bad in Florida when they take on Buffalo.
