We have two picks today.
Atlanta Thrashers @ Ottawa Senators
Second match of the season between Atlanta and Ottawa. Ottawa had won the first game back in November. Despite getting outshot by the Thrashers, Sens had won 5-2. They are 2-4 SU in last 6 games against Atlanta.
Thrashers are coming to this game with two victories out of their last three road games. The only loss was in Pittsburgh against the Penguins. They have been really good on road this season.
Senators are 8-8-1 on home ice and they have gone 2-4-1 in last 7 home games.
Leclaire is day-to-day but he won't start tonight and we will see Elliott between the pipes for the Senators. Pavelec who has allowed more than three goals only one time in last nineteen games, will make another start for Thrashers.
I like UNDER in this one. Both goaltenders are good and total has gone under in 9 of 12 games Atlanta has played on road, as well as 8 of 11 games for Ottawa.

NY Islanders @ Nashville Predators
6 injuries for the Islanders and their season is getting worse and worse. They had a pretty good game against the Thrashers on Saturday but they couldn't protect the 2-0 lead and lost 4-5 in the end. Their powerplay has been struggling as they were able to score only one goal on 16 attempts in last 5 games.
Meanwhile, Predators made it four wins in last five matches as they blanked Florida 3-0 on Saturday. They had beaten the Red Wings before that. The only loss came in Atlanta last week and that was because they couldn't protect a 2-0 lead they had in the first period of the match.
Predators have been playing without number 1 goaltender Rinne but backup goalie Lindback has been playing well and helped them win four of their last five matches as he has allowed only 7 goals in those 4 wins.
Lombardi is out along with Pekka Rinne but Predators have been good lately. They are 5-1 SU against the Islanders on home ice in last 6 matchups too.
Islanders are 2-10-3 on road this season and 0-2-1 in last 3 road games.
I will risk 2 units on Predators puckline.
