Nashville Predators @ Carolina Hurricanes
Predators have no trouble scoring goals in last games. They failed in Toronto to protect a 3-0 lead but they were successful against the Canadiens. They won 3-0 and now they will face the Canes for the first time this season. Last season Nashville had won the only game of the season with a score of 4-2. Carolina had an explosive victory over the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday. 7-1 scoreline was the best for them this season. That night, Staal scored his 200th goal in NHL. This is a meeting of two hot teams and I expect a high scoring match.
PICK: OVER 5,5 GOALS LOSS

Chicago Blackhawks @ Vancouver Canucks
Just when I tought the Blackhawks were getting better, they shocked with a 7-2 thrashing by the Calgary Flames last night. Flames had quick goals in the final period and the game was over before Hawks could do anything about it. Now they are going to face the Vancouver Canucks whom they beat 2-1 in Chicago in the first matchup of the season. Canucks have not suffered a regulation loss yet on home ice as they are 6-0-1. I expect the home team to win this one. Hawks still have scoring problems and this will be their second match in 24 hours after a disappointing heavy defeat at the hands of Calgary Flames.
PICK: VANCOUVER CANUCKS TO WIN [Moneyline]
1.66 @ bwin.com LOSS
Colorado Avalanche @ Dallas Stars
This is the underdog selection of the night. Craig Anderson returned for the Avalanche team and they won 5-1 against the Rangers. He stopped 25 of 26 shots and showed he can make big difference for his team. Stars beat the Sharks in their latest game but they weren't really impressive. Ribeiro finally broke the deadlock for himself and scored two goals, which one of them was the game winning goal. Lehtonen will be starting for the Stars again. He has made 15 starts in 18 games and he must be exhausted. In the first game of the season, Avs had beaten the Stars 5-0 in Colorado. This one shouldn't be very different. Avs are the better side and I expect them to win with the help of number 1 goaltender Craig Anderson
PICK: COLORADO AVALANCHE TO WIN [Moneyline] WIN
