Premium NHL Pick: November 19th

If the Flyers could only protect a lead 4 times in a match, we would have won with our premium pick last night, however Tampa Bay Lightning came back from behind 4 times and twice from two goal deficits to win the match 8-7 in the end. Sometimes, you don't get lucky in NHL betting. Tonight we hope to get a little bit lucky.

Phoenix Coyotes @ Edmonton Oilers

I expected better from Oilers this season but they are not doing well except for beating the Stanley Cup Champions Chicago Blackhawks. They have only 4 wins so far and rank at the bottom of the league. Coyotes are coming to this with a four game winning streak and a hot goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov. He was good last season and he is even better this season. Even without the injured Shane Doan, Coyotes have been playing well. Oilers will start with Dubynk between the pipes tonight. Coyotes have been on fire and they should be able to beat the Oilers after beating the Calgary Flames in their previous game. It looks like another win in Alberta for Phoenix tonight.

Minnesota Wild @ Detroit Red Wings

Scoring is not a problem for the Wings this season. They had problems against the Blues in first two periods in their last game but they played excellent in third period to win the match 7-3.

Wings have won four games in a row and they have been dominant over the Wild at Joe Louis Arena. Wings are 2-0 in their last two matches against the Wild on home ice and they have had no difficulty beating the Wild in recent years.

Wild are coming to this game without number 1 goaltender Backstrom. Theodore will start tonight. Wings will start with Howard again. Wild have some important injuries as well. Everything points to a Detroit victory. Go for a regulation win for better odds.

LA Kings @ Buffalo Sabres

Kings lost to the Blue Jackets in their last match. They had a pretty good performance in last period but it was the Jackets who took the lead near the end of the third period and they won 5-3. Kings will face Sabres with Ryan Miller in net. When Miller was out with an injury, Sabres had serious problems however since Miller's return, they have played better games. They are 4-4-2 in their last 10 matches but they have only 2 wins on home ice this season. Kings will cause a lot of problems to them tonight. I still think this will be a close game and with two great goaltenders on each side, I will go with UNDER selection.
