Edmonton Oilers @ Chicago Blackhawks

Big difference performance wise between the last season's champions Hawks and this season's Chicago team that is 8-7-1. They seem to be allowing too many goals but they managed to win their latest game against the Atlanta Thrashers. When these teams met the last time on October 29th, Edmonton Oilers shocked the Hawks with an impressive 7-4 victory. I am not expecting this to repeat tonight but I expect a high scoring game once again.

Nashville Predators @ Anaheim Ducks

Second meeting of the season between the Ducks and the Predators. First one was in Nashville and the Predators had won it 4-1. 

Predators are coming off a 4-1 loss against the LA Kings last night. Ducks beat the Penguins on Friday with a 3-2 score.

Predators are still without Erat and Lombardi and the Ducks have no recent injuries. Linback will be starting tonight in Nashville goal while I expect to see Hiller for the Ducks. 

Ducks were pretty good against the Penguins when they denied an ambitious attempt by Sidney Crosby after taking the 3-0 lead. They protected it well and won the game 3-2. Predators looked without life last night in Los Angeles. This looks like a Ducks victory to me.
