Philadelphia Flyers @ Boston Bruins
Bruins had difficulties winning games on home ice in regular season however they were better in playoffs and they beat the Flyers twice at TD Garden. After the Bruins made it 3-0 in the series, Flyers had to win to survive and they did. Bruins still outplayed the Flyers in the beginning of the 4th game but it was Laviolette's team who came out on top and survived elimination.
Now the Bruins can finish it off at TD Garden tonight and they will have a big advantage. If you ask me which stands out the most when you compare these teams, I'd say goaltending. Bruins have a great goaltender, Tuukka Rask while the Flyers have struggled in this department. Emery and Leighton are both injured and they have been playing with Boucher in goal for a while. Boucher had some good games but he wasn't sharp in last two games. He allowed 4 goals on 20 shots in Game 3 and that was a very critical game in series.
Flyers also have other injury problems such as Jeff Carter and Laperriere. Carcillo is also listed as day to day as he has a minor injury. These injuries hurt their game and frankly I can see the Boston Bruins win the game and win the series tonight.
