Vancouver Canucks @ Chicago Blackhawks
I had questioned when Hawks coach decided to make Dustin Byfugliend a forward but he turned out to be right. Byfuglien turned things around in Game 3 to help Hawks beat the Canucks in Vancouver. Hawks took the lead 2-1 after that victory and then they started to play better with the momentum.
Hawks won the 4th game too and now they have 3 chances to eliminate the Canucks. The 1st chance is tonight at United Center.
Luongo who was the star of the first game had a bad game in the last match. Jonathan Toews was also impressive as the 22 yeard old captain of the Blackhawks scored 3 goals and had 2 assists in the 7-4 victory.
Canucks had been strong on home ice during regular season but we couldn't see it against the Hawks in this series. They had trouble keeping out of the penalty box and Hawks made no mistake in taking advantage of powerplay chances. Hawks scored 4 powerplay goals on 8 chances in the 4th game after scoring 2 powerplay goals in the 3rd match.
If the Canucks want to survive tonight, they have to stay out of the box. Hawks had not played this well in regular season and they are among the lucky teams that find their rythm in playoffs.
Canucks may find themselves out of the playoffs tonight but I am sure they will fight hard. Hawks had been explosive offensively as well. This should go OVER.
