Boston Bruins @ Buffalo Sabres:
It wasn't easy for the Bruins to come here. They had to fight until last matches of the regular season to make it to the playoffs. Sabres fought for top places until the end.
In regular season Boston Bruins beat the Sabres 4 out of 6 times and Tuuka Rask allowed only 1.43 goals against the Sabres in 5 matches when Boston went 4-1.
Only 2 of the 6 regular games between the clubs went OVER and that was mainly because both teams have very good goaltenders. Ryan Miller and Tuukka Rask are two of the best goaltenders in the NHL.
Bruins also have struggled in offense all season long. They were the second lowest scoring team in the league in regular season.
Buffalo Sabres are 25-10-6 at home this season and they will want to start this series with a victory on home ice. Bruins are still without Marc Savard. Sabres won't have Hecht.
I will go with UNDER on this one. Two great goaltenders and I am expecting a very conservative game from both teams in this series opener.

Los Angeles Kings @ Vancouver Canucks
Canucks are one of my favorites this year. They have had a great regular season and they were always good at GM Place. Now they will start the series against the Kings at GM Place where they are 30-8-3. This team have won 30 games on home ice!
Kings are coming to the playoffs after some sloppy performance in the last games of the regular season. They went 2 for 5 in their last 5 season games and were able to score only 13 goals in that span.
During regular season Kings and Canucks met 4 times and Canucks won three of them. In the last one in LA, Kings destroyed the Canucks with an 8-3 victory. That was one of the worst losses of the Canucks team this season.
Sedin Brothers, Kesler, Burrows all have done a great job at GM Place in regular season. They have the home ice advantage and there is no better team than the Canucks to turn that advantage into a victory. Take Canucks.
