We have three premium  NHL picks today

NY Rangers @ Florida Panthers:

Yes, we will go with Rangers again. 3rd time in three matches. Why? Because they play like the most focused team in the NHL right now. After Boston Bruins, Phil Flyers and Atlanta Thrashers had lost points, Rangers pushed it and they won two games in a row and also four in last five to come closer to the NHL playoffs.

In their last game they were in Florida again and they beat the Lightning 5-0. It was 4-0 in no time in first 20 minutes. Rangers had only 4 shots on goal and it was 3-0 already. After that they didn't have real difficulties winning all two points.

Panthers with no goals won their first game in last 5 matches. They beat the Boston Bruins on road and hurt Boston's playoff chances.

They will try to stop another play off contender tonight at the Bank Atlantic Center.

Rangers won two of the last three matches between the clubs and they beat the Florida Panthers on road back in November.

David Booth is out for the Panthers as well as, Campbell, Bitz and Oreskovich. Rangers may play without Callahan and Avery but they are otherwise healthy at the moment.

NJ DEVILS @ CAROLINA HURRICANES

Devils are visiting the Canes for the second time this year and the Canes had won the first match 5-2 back in February.

Devils lost their latest game last night when they hosted the Chicago Blackhawks. It was 1-0 for the Devils in the final 30 seconds of the game but the Hawks equalized thanks to their captain Toews's deflection goal. Hawks beat the Devils in shoot outs and handed the Devils their 4th loss in last 5 matches.

Canes on the other side have won three of the last five and they are coming off a close one against the Senators on Thursday.

When they played at the RBC Center the last time, they lost against the Thrashers.It came right after the victory against the Capitals.

Carolina has Cam Ward back and he is making a lot of difference. Ward was extremely good against the Montreal Canadiens when he stopped 34 of 35 shots at the Belle Center. He will face Martin Brodeur tonight and I expect a very tight game. This should go UNDER.

Anaheim Ducks @ LA Kings

That was one of their best performances on Thursday night when the Kings thrashed the Canucks at the Staples Center by a score of 8-3. Now they will have to make it three wins in a row when they host the Ducks who lost on home ice to the Canucks last night.

Ducks were pretty good when they beat the Colorado Avalanche on road on Wednesday. It was a giant step towards the playoffs but they ruined it with the loss last night on home ice. Now they are 6 points behind the 8th placed Avs and Flames are closing in on the Avs along with Dallas Stars at 84 points. It would be a very big surprise if Ducks make it to the playoffs after the loss last night.

Kings have 94 points and they have five games remaining. Tonight's game is very critical for them and with 2 points they will be 7 points clear off the Colorado Avalanche and Calgary Flames.

When the Ducks visited the LA last time they lost 6-4 and they have lost three in a row at the Staples Center in two seasons. Kings are 5-1 against the Ducks in last 6 matches.

Without Getzlaf and Hiller, it will be a very tough task for the Ducks tonight.  Both teams have been scoring goals in plenty as of late and we have seen high scoring games between them this season. (2-4, 4-6, 0-4, 4-3 results, 3 OVER and 1 UNDER). Curtis McElhinney and Jonathan Quick will be the goaltenders tonight. This will be McElhinney's second game in two nights. As Hiller is sidelined due to an injury, he started against the Canucks last night and stopped 36 of 40 shots on goal but couldn't avoid the defeat.

Kings will be offensive, they are fighting for the playoffs. This could go either way but should be a high scoring one. OVER
