Pittsburgh Penguins @ Carolina Hurricanes:

These tems will meet for the third time this season and each theam have won one on other's ice. Penguins have not played since Sunday's win over the Dallas Stars and they are on a winning streak of four games. Canes have won three of the last five but lost last night in Washington.

They had a pretty good game against the Caps but it was Fleischman who scored the overtime goal and won the game for the home side.

What is impressive for the Canes is that they have won 8 of their last 10 games. This team had a rough start to the season and after some good performance Cam Ward who played a key role in victories was injured. Despite Ward's injury, Carolina kept on winning hockey games and now they are only eight points behing the 8th placed Boston Bruins.

Penguins will be without Bill Guerin, Tyler Kennedy and Godard tonight while Canes are without goaltender Ward and forward Erik Cole is a doubt.

Last times Canes played at the RBC Center, they had two excellent wins. First one was against the Maple Leafs with a score of 5-1 and the second one was against the Senators with a score of 4-1. They will be glad to be back on home ice after a three game road trip which wasn't the best -but not the worst when they suffered only one regulation loss.

Despite Penguins' good form, I will go with the Canes victory tonight as this team have kept on impressing me with solid performances.They have a good chance to repeat last season's excellent late run to reach the play offs and to do that they need to win these games on home ice.
