Blues are coming off their fifth straight win as they thrashed the Dallas Stars 6-1 on Thursday after beating the Coyotes on Tuesday. That's two road wins in two games after the Olympic Break.Blues continue to play excellent on road and this will be a good test for them as they already suffered a defeat at this arena last month.

Paul Kariya of the Blues is playing so well, the absence of Keith Tkatchuk is not showing. Tkathcuk just had a surgery and he is going to be out for a while. Kariya has 8 points in last five games and TJ Oshie has been producing goals and asists in recent games.

Brandan Yip of the Colorado Avalanche is still out and that's not the only injury for the home side. They are without David Koci, Milan Hejduk and David Jones as well.

Blues have been playing excellent lately and overall their road performance this season has been good too.

It will be more difficult for the Avalanche tonight as they take on this hot Blues team without some key players.

Blues have scored a total of 23 goals in last 5 games and that brough the winning streak. If they can score first tonight they have a great chance to win this game as their style of play on road is good to protect leads most of the time. Despite the injuries Avs are a very strong team on home ice and their 20-9-2 home record is no coincidence. I am expecting both teams to be hungry for a win and this should help make this game a high scoring game. Besides, the odds are very valuable at 2.15.
