New York Rangers @ Washington Capitals:

Rangers' three game winning streak came to an end against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday when the Penguing won the match 5-4. Capitals on the contrary started a winning streak when they beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-4 on home ice only one day after beating the Buffalo Sabres at the HSBC Arena.

This will be the 4th meeting between these teams this season and the Caps are going to try to make it 4th straigh win over the Rangers.

When Rangers lost in Pittsburgh it was a very well deserved one. Penguins had an offensive explosion with 55 shots on Rangers goal. If that wasn't for Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist it could have been an ugly loss. Lundqvist made 50 saves that night but it was only good for one point.

Lundqvist is most likely up for another game like that one as the Washington Capitals are the highest scoring team in the league at 4 goals per game.

Rangers top scorer Marian Gaborik didn't have a good game against the Penguins as the player suffered an injury at the Olympics and is listed as day to day tonight.However we have seen contribution from other Rangers recently as Erik Christensen has 2 goals and Sean Avery has 2 goals and 2 assists in last 3 games.

Capitals are probably going to be without Jurcina and Erskine but the rest of the team is healthy.

Even if Marian Gaborik doesn't play tonight, it tends to go over when these teams play each other this season. All three games ended with more than 5,5 goals and the last one in New York ended 6-5.This should go OVER too.
