We have one premium pick today.

Vancouver Canucks @ Chicago Blackhawks

When the Canucks started their long road trip noone could have anticipated such a successful one. Canucks kept on winning on road on Wednesday when they beat the Detroit Red Wings, 6-3 at Joe Louis Arena. That came right after Tuesday's overtime win against the Jackets.

That was fourth win in last five road games for the Canucks.

They were explosive on the powerplay scoring 2 on 4 chances against the Red Wings. They have scored 4 powerplay goals in last 5 games and the total number of goals in this span was 19. We can not say their defense was at their best, as they have allowed 18 in last 4 games but 3 wins out of 4 is what that counts for them.

Chicago Blackhawks was stunned by a great performance by the Islanders goaltender Roloson on Tuesday. They lost that one 5-3 but then they were back to their offensive strength beating the Edmonton Oilers 5-2 after falling behind 2-1 in the second period.

Blackhawks are a very good team when they find their rythm and that's what happened in the third period against the Oilers. 40 plus shots on goal is not going to fail you too often, that's been the story for this team's offense in four of last five games. That came with 22 goals in this span and four wins out of five.

This game will be a chance for the Hawks to get even with the Canucks who gave them one of the season's biggest defeats in Vancouver on January 23rd. Canucks beat the Hawks 5-1 thanks to an excellent game for the home side. Roberto Luongo was amazing that night stopping 43 of 44 shots by the Chicago team. He will once again start tonight for the visiting team. We will see Huet between the posts for the Blackhawks.

Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith and Patrick Sharps along with captain Jon Toews. These four players keep on producing for the Blackhawks team. Kane has got 5 points in last 2 games after the Olympic Break. He is really on fire and there is no way of stopping this 21 year old right winger.

As for the Canucks Sedins are as usual and they have a combined 141 points for the team. Ryan Kesler has been good on road too as he is one of their best players at the GM Place. If this trio continues to play like they have in last 5 road games, this team can beat any team in this league and the long road trip may actually turn into a victorious one for the Canucks.Kesler has at least a point in last five games and he had two goals in latest Detroit game. He will be very difficult to stop tonight.

This game promises to be the most entertaining and competitive game of the night and that's difficult to predict the winner. We can however say that, considering the form of both teams, we should see plenty of goals in this one. I will go with OVER bet.
