Chicago Blackhawks @ Vancouver Canucks:
Canucks are 20-7-1 on home ice this season and they have won 4 of their last 6 games at the GM Place. They have also been very good agains the Hawks in recent seasons going 12-5 SU at home.
Chicago Blackhawks are coming off a win against the Calgary Flames. They had a four game road trip where they won three of them. The only loss came against the red hot Ottawa Senators. They scored a total of 14 goals in this span and allowed 13. They are no longer the best defense in the league -as they have been allowing so many goals- but they still rank in top three.
Canucks are a powerplay team. They are the best in the league with 0.9 powerplay goals per game. It showed once again in Edmonton when they scored 3 powerplay goals on 4 chances. They beat the Stars 4-3 on Thursday at the GM Place despite some poor performance against the worst road team in the NHL.
Canucks play better when they face strong opponents and this will be a very entertaining game. My money is on the home team tonight.
