Not too often these two teams play each other. This will be the first time they play and the Flyers will try to pick it up again and get back to winning streak. Flyers had won back to back games before they dropped two games in a row against the Leafs and the Capitals.
Jackets look like they figured out a solution to their scoring issues in their last two games. They scored a total of 9 goals in last two games and won the last one on home ice against the Blues. They scored 5 against the Hawks but the Hawks won that one. It is a big change for a team that had scored only three goals in three games before these last two.
Flyers will start with Ray Emery in goal while we see Garon starting for the Jackets tonight. Flyers have won all three games in their last three at the Wachovia Center. Jackets road record is far from impressive, as they have gone 8-15-4 this season on road. They also lost three of the last five road games.
As for the injuries, Klesla is still out for the Jackets and Modin is listed as day to day. Flyers will not have defenders Ryan Parent and Danny Syvret in the lineup tonight.
Flyers are close to a victory tonight but after seeing the offensive strength of the Blue Jackets in last two games and the desperation of the Flyers for a win, I will prefer to place my money on the OVER 5,5 Goals bet.
