We have two premium picks today:

St Louis Blues @ Columbus Blue Jackets:

Having won four games in a row for the first time this season, Blues will go and visit the Jackets who are coming
off one of the most entertaining games of the season. Jackets lost to the Hawks on home ice with a score of 6-5 and despite making an impressive comeback against them they couldn't win the game.

The teams are going to play for the second time in 8 days as the Blues beat the Jackets 4-1 in St Louis last week. Blues played excellent hockey against the New York Rangers on Saturday and they won the game 4-1.It was their fourth consecutive victory in a week.

Jackets may be without Modin who is listed as day to day. Method and Klesla are both out indefinitely. Blues have only one injured player and that is D.J. King.

Blues have been playing very good in recent games and the Jackets are 4-16 in their last 20 games. They won't likely make the playoffs this season and it is only getting worse. They didn't play too bad against the Hawks but it was yet another disappointing loss.

It will be difficult but I can see Blues winning this one.

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Nashville Predators:

This is the first time these teams are meeting this season. Leafs are coming off another loss against the Washington Capitals with a huge score of 6-1. They have won only one out of their last five games and they have scored only 10 goals in this span. They seem to have big offensive problems. Actually it has been like that all season long. You can see the Toronto Maple Leafs outshooting most of their opponents but they can't find a way to score goals which is the most important thing. It wasn't very different in Washington. They outshot the Caps 29-24 but the final score was 6-1 for Washington.

Predators have been playing at their best. I watched them in their latest game against the Calgary Flames and if it wasn't for the Flames goaltender Kiprusoff, it could have been much worse for the home side. 1-0 victory was still good enough for the Predators to make it three wins in a row and also fourth victory in five games.

Predators will not have forwards Smithsson and Tootoo in the line up tonight but they have been playing very good of late. Considering the offensive struggles the Leafs have, I am expecting the Predators to win this one quite comfortably. That's why I will suggest "regulation win" for the home side.
