3 FOR 3!

We have three premium picks today:

1) Edmonton Oilers @ San Jose Sharks:

Second time this month the Oilers are meeting the Sharks at the HP Pavillion. The first game was all Sharks as the home side won the game 4-1. Sharks had a bad day against the Bruins on Thursday and despite 41 shots on goal they were beaten by the Bruins 2-1. As for the Oilers, nothing has changes and they continue to lose games and battle with injury problems. Mike Comrie, Ales Hemsky are still out along with goaltender Khabibulun. Sharks are as healthy as they can be. I am expecting Sharks to win this one comfortably but I will go with over 5,5 goals as the odds for Sharks is too low.

PREMIUM NHL PICK: OVER 5,5 GOALS

2) Atlanta Thrashers @ Carolina Hurricaes:

Canes have won three of their last five games and they are coming off a 3-1 loss against the Detroit. When they played at the RBC Center the last time, they made it two wins in a row. They have quite a few injuries and Corvo, Cole, LaRose, Ruutu and Scott Walker are still sidelined. Thrashers are going through a difficult period. They managed to win only two games out of the last thirteen and they suffered a home defeat at the hands of the Sabres on Thursday. Thrashers have no problem in scoring goals but since the start of the season they haven't been able to solve defensive problems. They however beat the Carolina Hurricanes in the first match of the season at the same place they will play tonight. 6-4 was the final score in November and I am expecting another entertaining and high scoring game tonight.

PREMIUM NHL PICK: OVER 5,5 GOALS

3) New York Rangers @ St Louis Blues

Blues are a team that plays very good when they find their rhythm and it looks like they are back to winning hockey games after a skid. They have won their last three games with the last one against the Minnesota Wild when they shut out the Wild 1-0 at Scottrade Center. This is going to be the first time they meet the Rangers who have been having scoring problems especially when they played at the MSG. Rangers have been shut out twice in a row when they lost to the Devils and the Senators. It was very interesting to see two goaltenders named Brodeur, shutting out the New York Rangers in back to back games. Both teams are quite healthy and the Blues will try to make it four wins in a row while the Rangers will try to score a goal after two games.Blues will start with Mason and Lundqvist will be between the posts for the Rangers. Against the Senators, Rangers played their worst game of the year and I enjoyed watching Blues in their last three games. I take Blues tonight.
