This is the second time these teams meet this season and Bruins will want to forget the first game in Boston. That was one of the worst defeats they had on home ice in years. 6-1 Ducks victory was not anybody expected to see that day.

Bruins dropped two games in a row and they are still without some top players like Patrice Bergeron and Marc Savard. Playing without players like that is not an easy task. Their final defeat came at the hands of New York Rangers in Boston two days after losing 5-2 to the Hawks at the same place.

Ducks have never played better this season. They beat the Hawks for another time and this time at the United Center with a 3-1 victory after shutting them out in Anaheim with a score of 3-0 in November. They only had 12 shots on goal but Hiller had a great match and stopped 42 shots against the Hawks and he is expected to start tonight as well. Ducks have beaten Detroit, Blues, Nashville and Chicago Blackhawks in a row to make it a four game impressive winning streak.They had 14 goals in this span and allowed only 6.

The return of Getzlaf and Teeme Selanna has helped the Ducks get back their strong powerplay and it was effective in Chicago too. After not scoring a powerplay goal in over 240 minutes, they managed to score in Chicago on their first powerplay attempt.

Tonight's game is important to both teams. Boston Bruins will try to take the revenge of 6-1 loss in Boston and the Duck will try to keep their winning streak alive and extend it to five games. I believe Ducks -with their current form- will be able to reach their goal.
