Predators have started to become a very strong team on road. Their start to the season was an all different story. They had been stronger on home ice but they had failed to win games on road. It's getting better for them now on road. They showed just that last night when they beat one of the best teams in the NHL, Vancouver Canucks.
Edmonton Oilers have lost 11 of their last 12 games and they are still dealing with injury problems. Mike Comrie and Hemsk and goaltender Khabibulin are all out. That's hurting this team's overall performance as all three players play a key role in this team.
Edmonton Oiles also have a poor record against the Predators. They are 2-12 SU in their last 14 games against the Preds.
Oilers have dropped four of their last five and it doesn't seem to get any better soon. At least until they get their top players in the squad again.
Predators lost the first game in Nashville this season with a 6-1 shocking score but they beat the Oilers 6-3 on road in December.
Predators have been playing good of late and their performance against the Canucks last night was very good. I am expecting them to keep the momentum and win this game tonight.
