2 for 2!

We have two premium picks tonight.

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Edmonton Oilers:

The Jackets need a win urgently. They have gone 1-13 in their last 14 games and despite some good effort in Vancouver on Tuesday evening, they were once again defeated in the end. 7-3 final score was another loss for the Blue Jackets. They have dropped four games in a row before facing the Oilers tonight.

Oilers are not that good either, they are coming off a three game losing streak that ended with a loss agains the Phoenix Coyotes on Tuesday. Their defense struggled in last two games allowing nine goals in total. They have been struggling with injuries all season long and they will still be without their top players Mike Comrie and Ales Hemsky.

As for the Jackets, forwards Dorsettt and Raffi Torres are out indefinitely and they wont play tonight either.

Two teams that are desperate for a win. I am not expecting tight defense from either of them. Jackets' defense was terrible agains the Canucks as they allowed 7 goals on only 24 shots. Oilers also allowed 5 goals on 30 shots. Both teams are poor on special teams but tonight they have a better chance in winning.

I am expecting a high scoring game tonight. Whatever the outcome is...

PREMIUM NHL PICK: OVER 5,5 GOALS

Ottawa Senators @ Washington Capitals:

Ottawa Senators are 3-10 SU in their last 13 games on road. They are also 0-5 SU on road against the Washington Capitals. They are coming off a huge loss against the Boston Bruins. 4-1 final score was nothing we didnt expect from the Boston Bruins as the Senators are still playing without Alfredsson and Spezza.

Capitals had lost three games in a row before beating the Canadiens 4-2. It was good for their confidence as they bounced back from the loss against the Carolina Hurricanes in the last game of last year.

They did everything right against the Canadiens. 43 shots on goal, great goal by Alexander Semin and some good defense that allowed only goals on Canadiens powerplay. They were all positive signs for this team that had struggled in defense of late.

Leclaire will start again for the Senators tonight and we will see Huet in between the posts for the Capitals.

I see the Caps keeping the momentum and winning another game on home ice.
