Boston Bruins @ New York Rangers:

After their Winter Classic victory at the Fenway Park, Boston Bruins will be on ice for the first time. They will take on the Rangers team who are desperate for a win. It only got worse for them on Saturday when they lost to the worst team in the NHL, Carolina Hurricanes. Canes had only 19 shots on goal but they found a way to put three of them in Rangers goal and win it 3-1 in the end.

Rangers will be without Prospal tonight as he is the only injured player for this team. Bruins are without Milan Lucic and Mark Stuart.

This will be the second game between these teams. The first one ended 1-0 in favor of the Rangers. They have been pretty good against the Bruins in recent seasons. They are 9-1 SU in New York against the B's.

This Bruins team have been playing very good tho. They have won four of their last five games and the single loss came in Florida against the Tampa Bay Lightning. They limited their opponents to only 4 goals in last 4 games. They didn't score much themselves. Bruins have scored only 9 goals in this span. Their penalty killing units have been impressive allowing only 1 goal on 18 attempts.

Rangers have not been able to win back to back games since their impressive start to the season. Their powerplay has been below league average going 2 for 20 in last 5 games. They have been healthy for a long time but we don't see anything positive on the ice. Sean Avery has been failing to impress and the team is depending too much on the ex Wild forward Marian Gaborik. He has 27 goals and 25 assists this season and currently is this team's points leader by far. The second best of the team is Prospal-who remains sidelined- has only 32 points. Ales Kotalik follows these two with only 20 points. That shows how inbalanced this team is. They need more players to step up for success. They are actually lucky Gaborik has been playing since the start of the season. It would have been worse if he had gone through any injury.

Henrik Lundqvist will start for the Rangers team as Tim Thomas will start for the Bruins.

If you ask me who would win this game, I'd want to say Bruins because they are the better team but Rangers are more desperate for a win and their dominance against the Bruins in last 10 games is not easy to neglect. Some teams play better against certain teams and Rangers have been playing better against this Bruins team.That's how they shut out the Bruins back in November in the first game of the season.

I will go with UNDER 5,5 Goals. The odds are not very high at 1,66 right now but it looks the best choice for this game. If you want to be on sides, go for the Bruins.
