If you ask me to name a team that has been playing great, Blues would be one of the few I would tell you first. Blues have been playing very well and you can see it in the results. St Louis Blues will try to win another road game as they visit the Minnesota Wild tonight.
Blues first beat the Canucks in Vancouver last Sunday. That was very impressive considering how good the Canucks play on home ice. Oshie's shoot out goal made it three wins in three games for the Blues.
After the Christmas break they are taking on the Minnesota Wild. Wild are one of the strongest teams on home ice. They won another game at the Xcel Energry Center on Wednesday as they beat the Edmonton Oilers. I can not say that I liked the way they have been playing lately. They have won three of their last five but they didn't play their best in their last three games. That's why they have lost two of them. Losses against the Colorado Avalanche and the Ottawa Senators are all results of poor performance.
Wild will be without Pierre Marc Bouchard, Brent Burns and Petr Sykora tonight as the Blues are without only one player, that being forward DJ King.
Blues have deservedly won three games in a row. They also have been very good on road this season, beating strong teams like Detroit Red Wings, Sharks, Canucks. They have the momentum this time and they have got all it takes to beat the Wild tonight.
