Edmonton Oilers @ Vancouver Canucks:

Fourth time these teams meet this season. Edmonton Oilers have been playing without their star players for weeks and they have been losing back to back games lately. Now they are going to visit the Canucks for the fourth time. Oilers had won the first meeting in Edmonton but they failed to cause any trouble to the Canucks in the second and third games. Canucks was comfortable in the latest match as they thrashed the Oilers with a score of 7-3.

Canucks have won three of their last five games and those two losses came on home ice. They lost to the LA Kings and then the St Louis Blues at the GM Place. They are coming off a 4-1 victory against the Nashville Predators.

Ryan Kesler, Daniel Sedin, Henrik Sedin have all been scoring for the Canucks. It is easier to win hockey games when you have healthy squad. Oilers never had this chance this season. Ales Hemsky, Mike Comrie, Khabibulin, Pisani, Chorney and Pouliot are still out while the Oilers try to snap a five game losing streak.

Vancouver is 15-5 SU in its last 20 games at home. Edmonton is 0-5 SU in its last 5 game. Oilers lost their final game on Wednesday against the Minnesota Wild. They had 31 shots on goal but only one of them hit the back of the net while the Wild scored three goals on 27 shots. Their powerplay was not productive once again as they have failed on powerplays eight times in the last three games.

Canucks are coming off a comfortable win over the Predators on Tuesday.

Luongo is going to start for the home team tonight while the Oilers will give Deslauriers another start.

Canucks play very good on home ice and they had no realy difficulties beating the Oilers team at the GM Place this season. Both of those victories came in regulation time and I don't see any reason they can't do the same for the third time.
