Hawks have been playing their best hockey until last night. They had beaten the Sharks 7-2 in November but last night it was Sharks turn to win. Hawks crashed the Sharks net but they failed to beat Nabokov. 47 shots on goal but Sharks won the game 4-2 with only 17 shots on goal.
Hawks are good at many things this season. Chicago has the best shots against in the league allowing 24.1 per game. Chicago is second in penalty killing in the league at 86.4%.Chicago is the toughest team to score on in the league, allowing just 2.1 goals per game. It just goes on and on.
In most recent games, I particularly liked how Byfuglien played. He has been playing excellent both in defense and offense. Kane missed many chances last night but it doesn't mean he will continue missing tonight.
Wings have too many injuries to deal with. Even with their deep squad, it is hard to win hockey games like this.
