It has been always about injuries for the Detroit Red Wings and it is not getting any better. On the contrary it is getting worse. Rafalski returned last week but this time it is Henrik Zetterberg who got injured and will be sidelined for 2 weeks.

They will visit the Dallas Stars tonight. Stars won one of the games in Detroit last month. Stars won that one 3-1 and Detroit replied with a 4-1 win at the end of the month.

Wings won their last four games, starting with the Ducks and then a win on road against the Predators, and two victories at home against the Coyotes and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Stars are 2-0-1 at home in their last 10 games and they are 7-3-5 on home ice this season. That's not really a good home record but they are returning home after a terrible road trip that had 4 losses and only 1 win. That single victory came at San Jose's HP Pavillion.That was probably the best hockey they played all season long with 44 shots on goal and 100% penalty killing against the Sharks.

Turco will start for the Stars tonight and Howard will be between the posts for the Red Wings. We know how Turco plays against top team so I am expecting him to come out big tonight against the depleted Red Wings.

Wings have 5 forwards sidelined, who are Daniel Cleary, Henrik Zetterberg, Helm, Franzen and Flippula. They also won't have defenders Ericsson and Kronwall and Lilja. This team is struggling with injuries. It must be really difficult for Mike Babcock to make line adjustments.

Stars have been good against the Wings in previous seasons at the American Airlines Center and I am expecting them to keep it up tonight.
