Fourth pick of the day:

Tampa Bay Lightning @ Colorado Avalanche:

It's been only 12 days since these teams met the last time. They met in Tampa Bay and the Avalanche won that game 3-0. They have been beating the Lightning for the last five games. They are 5-1-1 SU in its last 7 games when playing at home against Tampa Bay.

Tampa Bay Lightning are not a road team and this shows in their stats too. They are 4-7-4 this season.

Avalanche loves playing defensively. This is why they are at 25.5 shots per game which is the worst in the NHL. They are 7-3-2 on home ice this season.

Craig Anderson will start tonight for the Avalanche after Budaj showed some great performance. They lost to the Wild once again in Colorado on Wednesday. After losing twice last month it was disappointing to lose to the same team with a score of 1-0.

Bolts are probably going to be without their number one goal scorer Steve Stamkos as the player left the latest game in Edmonton. He is listed day to day but we found out that he won't be playing tonight. Malone was also injured but it is nothing serious and he will most likely play tonight.

Avalanche has been excellent in killing penalties in their last three games. They killed off 9 in a row and 12 of the last 13. Their powerplay however is still struggling. They couldn't take the advantage of six powerplays against the Wild. That resulted in a 1-0 loss on home ice.

They are still without long time injuries defensemen Kyle Cumiskey and Ruslan Salei along with forward David Jones.

Both goaltenders are very good, Anderson and Nittymaki, and considering the low scoring games of both teams in their latest games, I will go with UNDER

PREMIUM NHL PICK: UNDER 5,5 GOALS
