St Louis Blues are coming off their most impressive victory of the season. They were 2-1 down and shorthanded at the HP Pavillion with under a minute remaining and they managed to tie the game only some seconds remaining. They won the game in shoot out and showed what they are capable of.

Kings are also coming off a victory and that came on home ice when they beat the Ottawa Senators 6-3. That was third consecutive victory as they had beaten the Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks before that game. Now they want to make it four wins in as many games when they play at the Staples Center again.

When these teams met in October, it was the Kings who came out on top with a 2-1 victory. Los Angeles is 6-2 SU in its last 8 games when playing at home against St. Louis.

They are 7-4-1 at the Staples Center this season. They are going to be without Rob Scuderiand forward Ryan Smith. The Blues have to play without defenseman Eric Brewer and forward DJ King.

Kings did not play perfect against the Senators but they managed to win it quite comfortably by 6-3. They have to do better tonight against the Blues team that is coming off a huge win. Blues are 3-1-0 in their most recent road games.

Last Saturday Kings beat the Blackhawks at the Staples Center and now they face the Blues. Kings won three games in a row despite the fact that they have allowed at least one powerplay goal in all three. Tonight they will play against the Blues who has the worst powerplays in the league. If their special teams can take care of Blues already poor powerplay, and the forwards keep scoring like they have been doing recently, I think they can win this one.
