Edmonton Oilers have been dealing with injuries and the final injury is probably the biggest yet. Ales Hemsky is not going to play again this season. Mike Comrie, Grebeshkov, Nilsson, Pisani, Ryan Stone and new acquiring Puliot, the list goes on.

Canucks won three of their last five games with the latest win coming on home ice against the LA Kings. They rested yesterday while the Oilers lost on home ice to San Jose Sharks. It was a tight game but the Sharks managed to win it 5-4 in the shoot out.

Canucks will be playing fourth consecutive game on home ice as they have lost only to Chicago Blackhawks in this span. They also have some injuries as they are without four forwards, which are Bolduc, Demitra, Grabner and Rypien.

In the last three games at the GM place, they let their opponent score only three times. They replied their opponents with a total of 9 goals. Their powerplay was not so good as they went 2 for 11 in these three games, whereas they killed 6 of 9 powerplays their opponents had.

Vancouver is 7-3 SU in its last 10 games when playing at home against Edmonton. Edmonton is 1-9 SU in its last 10 games on the road.

To conclude, I look at this Edmonton Oilers team that have struggles on road all season and with so many injured players they will have to face a Canucks team who are strong on home ice. And don't forget that Oliers also played against NHL's top team Sharks last night and it went to the shoot out. Canucks are well rested and have a healthy squad. Canucks should wrap this up in regulation.
