Tim Thomas is returning tonight for the Boston Bruins. His backup Rask did pretty good while Thomas was gone due to hand injury. Bruins won 4 games in a row before losing on home ice last night against the New Jersey Devils. They will try for the second time in as many nights to secure a home victory.

Senators took yesterday off and now they will try to make it 5 wins in last 6 games and two in a row after beating the Blue Jackets on Thursday at Scotiabanks Place. Their single loss came on road in this span. They lost to the Devils by 3-1. They are still without number 1 goaltender Pascal Leclaire and Elliot will have to start tonight.

They are also without forward Donovan and Neil.It is likely that Mike Fisher will be able to return tonight. Defender Volchenkov will have to wait.

When these teams met last month at Scotiabanks Place, it was the Bruins that won the match 4-3. Bruins had tied the game late in third and won it in the shootout.

Bruins also have and important injury as they will be without forward Milan Lucic.

Despite the return of Mike Fisher, Senators are still without a top defender and their number 1 goaltender. Bruins may be without Lucic but excpect to see a better Marc Savard tonight as it has been three games since his return so he should be able to start making an impact on this team.

Taking into account that Bruins have been dominant against the Senators in the last years) going 8-1 SU in its last 9 games when playing Ottawa / Ottawa is 0-5 SU in its last 5 games when playing on the road against Boston) Also, Senators have been below 0.500 on road going 3-4-0. I will go with a Bruins victory tonight.
