LA Kings @ Vancouver Canucks:

After winning two games in a row Canucks were beaten by the Blackhawks on Sunday despite limiting the Hawks offense to only 17 shots. Having watched last nights game between the Hawks and the Sharks, I think Canucks have done a much better job than I initially thought limiting the Hawks. Hawks are explosive and they have been demolising all their opponents since the return of Jonathan Toews and not not mention last night's debut of Marian Hossa.

Canucks beat the Colorado Avalanche in back to back games once on home ice and once on road. Now they are rested and ready to take on a Kings team that played last night in Edmonton. Kings enjoyed a victory on road last night after dropping two games in a row. They were excellent in killing Oilers powerplays and Oilers do pretty good on powerplays.

Kings are without three forwards, being Ryan Smith, Loktinov, and Stoll. They also are without defender Jarret Stoll. Canucks are without Bolduc, Demitra and Grabner.

When we look at the games between these teams played at the General Motors place, Los Angeles is 5-9-1 SU in its last 15 games when playing on the road against Vancouver. Vancouver has also been good on home ice this season going 8-3-0.

We usually go with moneyline picks but for this game we have decided to go with 60 minute 3 way betting as the odds are very low for the moneyline bet. Canucks have played overtime only 1 out of 8 games they played at the General Motors place this season so we will take our chances.

Considering that the Kings have played last night and Canucks are a refreshed team that has been doing great on home ice, we say Canucks should wrap this up in regulation time.
